Nourishing your soul is essential for your mental overall well-being. The soul, like the physical body, thrives on a consistent nourishment of diet, rest and exercise.

Mental exercises help you to replenish your soul and to renew your mind by promoting inner peace. Pray for the Holy Spirit to help you identify and replace negative thoughts with God-centered perspectives. One way of doing this is by repeating positive statements or affirmations about yourself. Pray for God to make His will your will. Actively exercise your mind by engaging in creative activities, as well as, connecting with and helping others. This helps to cultivate a sense of purpose.
